Default Hello, transfer from the Element Owners Club forum

My wife and I just purchased an 06 Civic Hybrid to take the place of our beloved 05 Element which gave it's life to save my wife's last week when someone ran a red light and struck her. Since we already have a 99' CR-V with 140k on it, we re-evaluated our priorities and thought it is silly to own two SUV's, even if they are low emissions Hondas. Perhaps we can get another Element once the CR-V gives out.

Welcome to Greenhybrid!
One of the few people with a new 06 HCH in their possession. Congratulations. I'll be watching your posts to hear more.

Hey, how about some pics, please?

I'll get some pics as soon as I can, but our digital camera was in the previously mentioned Element at the time of the accident, so we are trying to get it back from the collission shop.

Welcome to GreenHybrid.

That's a fine looking car, I see why it won car of the year.

Regards,

Hi Nick; great pics. Say that sure looks like the (Alabaster-Silver-Metallic) color outside, is that correct? I have a 06 HCH in the above color ordered and I just wondered if that is the same color as your HCH, would you take some Pics. of the "Interior"? If it is the color I listed you should have the (Two-Tone-Blue-Interior) which is suppose to be really neat. So If you don't mind showing off your new ride some additional Pics.
would be Great.

Congrats On Your New HCH;

Terry

BTW; Thanks for the Pics. and what do you think of the HCH in general?

I'll try to get some pics up of the interior. It is the Alabaster Silver Metallic color, with the blue interior. I haven't taken any interior photos, but here is a sight with some good photos of the blue interior:

I personally love the interior in general, especially the blue two-tone. The dash layout is nice, with excellent ergonomics. I love the HCH in general. It handles much better than I expected.
