Yes, I love the warmer weather! I just got 81.5mpg round trip for my daily commute. A new all time high for me.

I did pull my radiator cardboard block out last week when the temperatures were in the 50s. But when I saw your other post mentioning your unscientific results when putting it back on it made me think twice.

My wife remarked that there's something odd about getting such high gas mileage and mildly kidded me about perhaps the engine is getting to hot from being too efficient!

When I put it back on I may just do a partial block. I don't think I mention how I had mine set up before. I actually used two pieces of cardboard side by side. Kind of like sliding windows. That way I could increased or decrese the amount of radiator exposed. For most of the winter it was fully blocked off.

I don't have much stop and go, so I may put it back on at least partially.
At the same time, I will keep an eye on the heat gauge "bars.

Do you have any idea on the threshold/break even point, as far as mpg goes, for keeping it blocked?

Just wanted to say that my lifetime mpg just blipped up again. It went to 62.0 today. (~36,000 miles.) Not bad, since I started at 29,000 miles with 61.5 lifetime MPG in October. As long as the warm weather keeps up, I hope to continue progressing.

Hey, thanks for noticing. Yes, I did have a celebration of my own. I filled up a little eariler than usual, but I could have easily gone over 700 miles on that last tank of gas. I'm certain that I brought it up several times during Easter celebrations with family.
