Mel bounced? He didn't explain what he was suspicious of....
They took the truck today to the official GM headquarters where they conduct all training, hopefully they'll be able to better diagnose the issues.
By the way does anybody have a Hybrid TAHOE, YUKON or ESCALADE that came with a spare.... just curious.

Delasierradh,
The Tahoe Hybrid does not come with a spare. It has a compressor with a sealent.

You can remove the exhaust resonator and add a spare tire, the instructions for both modifications are on this forum. The exhaust resonator takes the space normally occupied by the spare tire. The parts are readily available from other GMT-900 series trucks, such as the non-hybrid Tahoe, Yukon, Avalanche, etc.

If they end up doing any reprogramming, test the brakes carefully on pickup. Try several low-speed stops and creeping forward and stopping. If it feels wrong, make them reprogram it. There are very specific instructions on reprogramming all of the computers on the hybrid and if they press the brake pedal during the process, it screws up. THis is also discussed elsewhere (in detail) on this forum.

Good luck, I know you will enjoy it after the inital bugs are worked through.

I don't know the answer for the Escalade or Yukon. It was not an option on the Chevy.

Truck came back from GM headquarters today I was told everything was flashed and updated but the P0AC4 remains due issues related to these two other codes

P0C32: Hybrid Battery Cooling System Performance
P2797:Auxilary Transmission Fluid Pump Circuit Performance

New 2009 Truck with mileage under 2k, this sucks. The dealer gave me a good deal when I bought this truck (33k), maybe they gave me a truck with damaged, exchanged parts.

So why did they give it back to you not fixed? These are emissions warranty items and are both very straightforward codes; the P2797 is one underhood module and one very accessible bolt-on pump. The P0C32 may involve taking the cover off the battery pack and pulling out the clogged material. But it's probably something thin that worked it's way inside the trim panels and is covering the battery pack air inlet. The only delay should be waiting for parts, which they should have ordered by now.

Thanks a lot KC, you have no idea how much just this little comment might help us in the handling of these issues.
Here (by that I mean any country far from the US) GM policies do not work as favorably for an American GM customer.
Since the car is only coming out for sale here this summer, it is apparently wrong for them to even have the car looked at by a GM tech guy.
A manager at HQ actually complained to the fact that we took the truck there claiming that this car was not sold by them locally, therefore it was nothing worth their time.
They asked me why I decided to bring this car here.... I said that it was my property period. .....Long story short they are not going to fix it or look at it again at HQ.

The dealership that is getting techs prepped for hybrids however, agreed to help me to fix it, but get this.... Only if I get the TSBs dealing with the respective issues and if I get the parts myself. In other words screw warranties. The techs are nice people though, you can tell they are excited about learning about hybrid repair.
I'm probably going back to the US soon for a bit, maybe I"ll find a good American technician whom I can invite for a trip to South America all expenses paid.
Thanks for everyone's input though, I still love my truck.

If you have any knowledge about these codes please feel free to contribute...
