Other What is an ideal EV for everyone?

Re: What is an ideal EV for everyone?
The Audi e-Tron starts at £71k. The Tesla Model S Long Range starts at £88k. The Model S Plaid starts at £119k. The Porsche Taycan Turbo S begins at £138k. The Rimac Nevera starts at £1.8million. The Lotus Evija starts at £2million - to name a few electric cars. So you see, in the grand scheme of things, £30k for a VF9 can't be considered as "expensive," can it?

Re: What is an ideal EV for everyone?
Question, how cold is "cold weather"? Below freezing? Does it affect the range even if the car is just sitting, not being driven in the freezing cold? I ask because I am looking into buying a used Kia Soul EV with only a 110 mile range maximum. I live in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) in the US; we get a few weeks of nights, and only a handful of days below freezing.

Don’t recharge just replace
When you go to fill your tank with gas, it may take 5 minutes.
To recharge your EV it takes maybe an hour while you sit and wait.
There is a much faster way to charge your EV, instead of sitting and waiting, why not just exchange your discharged battery with a charged one?
You drive up to a battery exchange site, much like a gas station today only it is more like a car drive though wash where you drive your car between two rails until the red light flashed to stop. A mechanical arm reaches up, removing your discharged battery, replacing your discharged one with a charged one. Your used battery is checked, and you are given credit for any remaining charge still in the battery.
The turn around time maybe five minutes
