2015 Honda Civic IMA warning light
 

My 2015 Honda Civic Hybird had a bad inverter replace last year Local Honda dealer replace the inverter due an extended warranty on this part. Yesterday I got in the car and started the engine and it began throwing all these warning lights. IMA, Charging systems, ABS system, and emissions code. and check engine light. The car acted almost exactly like it did during the first inverter failure My question is anyone have 2 inverter failures back to back Less than a year apart?

Sorry for the long delay answering your question. I took the car back to the dealer and explained to the service manager that the sysptioms was the same as before. He agreed to do a courtesy scan to see it the inverter was the problem I was not and they came back to me and explained they needed a more delailed scan which I would have to pay for out of pocket. They had the car for several hours and when they texted me that my car was ready, they did not charge me anything They said some of the pin connectors appeared to be bent on the inverter.. Being I had never messed with the inverter and they are the only ones ever to work on it. I suspect they were bent when they replaced it. Otherwise I feel sure they would have charged me for the repair. At any rate the car is doing fine now and has just over 90,000 miles. I hope to keep the car for serveral more years..
