Some Carmakers Are Already Close To 39 MPG Average

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,520664,00.html

... most of the major automakers are already above the current CAFE for cars of 27.5 mpg, and well on their way to 39 mpg, but some are much closer to the mark than others.
Toyota 36.4
Honda 35.1
Hyundai 33.8
Kia 33.4
Nissan 32.2
Ford 30.0
General Motors 29.8
Chrysler 29.5
VW 28.8
BMW 27.4
Mercedes-Benz 26.4

No hybrids at Hyundai or Kia, yet they beat out Ford, GM and Chrysler.

More fuel efficient cars, more hybrids, fewer gas hogs, and toss in a few plugins for good measure.

A 39 MPG average in 7 years doesn't really look all that challenging given what's already in the car makers pipelines.

Volt, Escape PHEV, Chrysler ENVI (assuming it's not pure vaporware)

Brass air fittings

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings http://www.liangdianup.com/subpages/airfitting_1.htm there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.

Kengrubb: To find lists of specific fuel economy info, http://www.fueleconomy.gov has all brands and their numbers. A good hybrid specific list is at http://www.shouldigohybrid.com/Main_Fuel_Info.php . Only a few cars are near or over 39 mpg at this point, including the Prius, Insight, and Civic Hybrid.
