The '09 FEH does not have the jump-start switch, but it's now safe to say, it must have a better system to prevent it from draining itself. When I parked the FEH, it had 50% SoC. The 12V battery didn't have a full charge when I started it today, so the HV battery must have dumped a good amount of SoC into the 12V battery.

The reason I'm providing this information, is for those that have the '09 and newer FEH without the jump-start switch. You should feel safer when parking your FEH for long periods of time. I've mainly parked my FEH because I love driving my '11 Explorer that has average 23.9mpg with the A/C.

No, it's the 3.5L V6 Limited with Nav and Tow package. I test drove the '12 Explorer Limited EcoBoost and was disappointed with the MPG with the A/C On. I couldn't get the EcoBoost to go fuel-cut like my V6 either. Maybe Ford can get that working soon. The '13 Explorer Sport can get the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost and I have my eye on that one for sure. The Explorer is just to heavy for the 2.0L EcoBoost to get better MPG in real city and even highway driving. I put a SGII in the 2.0L and I'm glad I got a chance to drive it to compare with my V6. I have a 3,000lb boat to tow and the 2.0L doesn't come in 4WD or with a tow package. The 3.5L EcoBoost F150 can tow 11,000lb, so the Explorer should be good for the 5,000lb rating my V6 has. I've been averaging ~21mpg pulling my boat around town, but I've never hit the highway to go to the Keys yet. This August Lobster Season I plan to go down there with the Explorer pulling the boat and that should be interesting. Wayne Gerdes got 32mpg cross Country in the Ecoboost F150, so I know the 3.5L EcoBoost will be a great engine for the Explorer. All three of these engines have good power, but the 2.0L EcoBoost I'm not interested in now that I've driven one in the Explorer. Even my V6 has the same power as my '02 Explorer V8 I replaced.
