Additional Info: The Hybrid is driven daily from Maryland to DC - 45 miles each way with a combination of highway driving at 70+ mph and stop and go traffic. Anyone that has been to DC knows of the Beltway Traffic. I spend on average 2 - 3 hours a day commuting. My driving habits are characterized as a “smooth operator”. No stomping on the accelerator or brake pedals. My previous car was 1995 Saturn SL2 Coupe with 160,000 miles that average 33.5mpg for the last 75,000 miles before the engine blew a cylinder. Considering the reliability of my previous Saturn and the fact that I needed a larger car for holding two road bikes - going with the Vue Hybrid was an easy choice and I have no regrets.
